Goodland Field Station Replacement

MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: Will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 10:00am (ET), at the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, 2561 San Marco Road, Marco Island, FL 34145. BID SUBMITTAL DUE DATE: No later than 3:30PM (ET), Wednesday, February 13, 2019, to the below address: Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction, 3800 Commonwealth Blvd. MS520, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-3000, Attention Alyssa Skehan, Government Operations Consultant II, Bureau of Design and Construction, (850) 245-2781. (For hand delivery: Carr Building, Welcome Desk.) The Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

BID POSTING DATE: No later than 3:30PM (ET), Tuesday, February 19, 2019, unless extended by the Department for good cause.

INSTRUCTIONS: Documents for this bid will be available for download on Wednesday, January 9, 2019. Any firm desiring a Project Manual with the plans for this project may obtain directions by emailing BDC_Contracts@dep.state.fl.us

SCOPE OF WORK:

Base Bid:

The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and permitting to successfully complete all work for the Goodland Field Station in accordance with contract documents.

Builder’s Risk Insurance is required for this project and must be included in bid price.

Note: Bidder Prequalification is required for all bids. Each bidder shall provide a copy of its biennial pre-qualification letter from FDEP’s Bureau of Design and Construction. If not pre-qualified, the bidder must submit a current State Contractor license certification or registration and current Corporate Charter registration with the bid.
