March 10, 2020 at the Judah P. Benjamin Confederate Memorial at Gamble Plantation Historic State Park, 3708 Patten Avenue, Ellenton FL 34222. All bidders must be present and signed in prior to the start of the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Anyone not signed in at the commencement of the meeting will be considered late and will not be allowed to bid on the project.

BID POSTING DATE: No later than 3:30 PM (ET), Thursday, April 9, 2020, unless extended by the Department for good cause.

INSTRUCTIONS: Documents for this bid will be available for download on Thursday, February 27, 2020. Any firm desiring a Project Manual with the plans for this project may obtain directions by emailing BDC_Contracts@dep.state.fl.us

SCOPE OF WORK:

Base Bid:

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and permitting to provide structural stabilization to the house per the contract documents.

Alternate #1:

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and permitting to paint the exterior of the house per the contract documents.

Builder’s Risk Insurance is required for this project and must be included in bid price.

Note: Bidder Prequalification is required for all bids. Each bidder shall provide a copy of its biennial pre-qualification letter from FDEP’s Bureau of Design and Construction. If not pre-qualified, the bidder must submit a current State Contractor license certification or registration and current Corporate Charter registration with the bid.

Pursuant to Executive Order 07-126 and Section 255.252(3), F.S. the Department requires the proposed project be designed and constructed in accordance with green building standards where applicable.
