PROJECT NAME: Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve – Cat Point Living Shoreline Marsh Vegetation MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: Will be held at 1:30 PM (EST), on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the Apalachicola National Estuary Resource Reserve (ANERR), Multi-Purpose Room, 108 Island Drive, Eastpoint, FL 32328. BID SUBMITTAL DUE DATE: No later than 3:30PM (ET), Wednesday, November 13, 2019 to the below address: Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction, 3800 Commonwealth Blvd. MS520, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-3000, Attention Alyssa Skehan, Government Operations Consultant II, Bureau of Design and Construction, (850) 245-2781. SCOPE OF WORK: Base Bid: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and permitting to provide and install marsh planting and environmental signage per the contract documents. Longshoreman’s Insurance is required for this project and must be included in bid price. Note: Bidder Prequalification is required for all bids. Each bidder shall provide a copy of its biennial pre-qualification letter from FDEP’s Bureau of Design and Construction. If not pre-qualified, the bidder must submit a current State Contractor license certification or registration and current Corporate Charter registration with the bid. Pursuant to Executive Order 07-126 and Section 255.252(3), F.S. the Department requires the proposed project be designed and constructed in accordance with green building standards where applicable.
