PROJECT NAME: Navarre Beach Park-Coastal Access, Dune Restoration, and Gulf Side Walkover MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: Will be held on Tuesday, August 8th, 2017 at 10:00am (CDST), Navarre Beach Utilities Offices Conference Room, 1411 Utility Drive, Navarre Beach, FL 32566. BID SUBMITTAL DUE DATE: No later than 3:30PM (ET), Tuesday, August 29, 2017, to the below address: Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction, 3800 Commonwealth Blvd. MS520, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-3000, Attention Mae Roth, Government Operations Consultant II, Bureau of Design and Construction, (850) 245-2781. (For hand delivery: Carr Building, Welcome Desk.) The Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids. BID POSTING DATE: No later than 3:30PM (ET), Tuesday, September 12, 2017, unless extended by the Department for good cause. INSTRUCTIONS: Documents for this bid will be available for download on Friday, July 28, 2017. Any firm desiring a Project Manual with the plans for this project may obtain directions by emailing BDC_Contracts@dep.state.fl.us SCOPE OF WORK: Base Bid: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and permitting to construct two new beach access boardwalks and one canoe/kayak launch with boardwalk on the sound-side of the project and construction of a parking area, restroom facility, three picnic pavilions with connecting boardwalks, one observation tower and a dune crossover boardwalk on the gulf-side per the contract documents. Builder’s Risk Insurance, Installation Floater, and Longshoreman’s Insurance are required for this project and must be included in bid price.
