THIS IS NOT A BIDThe Department of Financial Services, Division of Investigative & Forensic Services needs to purchase a Bomb Suit that is approved equipment under Improvised Explosive Device/Explosive Ordnance Disposal (IED/EOD) Protective Ensemble category and must also be certified to meet the U.S. Department of Justice, National Institute of Justice, Public Safety Bomb Suite Standard NIJ Standard-0117.01, Public Safety Bomb Suit Standard dated April 2016. Prospective vendors who believe they can provide these services shall provide relevant information no later than April 1, 2020 at 9:45 AM (ET). If it is determined in writing by the Department, after reviewing any information from prospective vendors, that the services are available only from a single source, the Department will post on the Vendor Bid System, notice of its intended decision to enter into an agreement with said vendor pursuant to Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes. Please see the attached PUR 7776 form for additional information.
