The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Forest Service is seeking sealed bids for the sale of timber. This sale is an approximately 193 acre clear-cut of planted sand pine on Blackwater River State Forest (SFI Certified Forest #NSF-SFI-FM-C0245755) in Santa Rosa County, Florida. Timber available for harvest includes all timber within the sale boundaries. Sale boundaries have been marked with double dots of orange paint. Estimated volume of timber to be removed includes 8,854 tons of pulpwood. This will be a twelve (12) month contract. Interested parties may obtain complete bid information by contacting Wesley Woodham at (850) 957-5734.The Florida Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in bids received.
