The Unified Homelessness Grant consolidates all competitive funding streams for the Office on Homelessness within the Department of Children and Families. The purpose of this Request for Applications (RFA) is to coordinate state and federal funding to Homeless Continuum of Care (CoC) lead agencies in their efforts to reduce and end homelessness throughout Florida. The state-funded Challenge Grant, authorized by s. 420.622(4), F.S., is designed to meet crucial housing, program, and service needs in the CoC. The TANF Homelessness Prevention Grant, authorized by s. 414.161, F.S., provides emergency financial assistance to prevent homelessness among eligible families in Florida. The federally funded Emergency Solutions Grant, identified in federal regulations, 24 CFR 576, provides funding for activities such as street outreach, emergency shelter, homelessness prevention, and rapid rehousing assistance.Addendum 1 - Updated Schedule of Events Written Inquiry Responses Addendum 2 - RFALP12819CO Part 1 Addendum 2 - RFALP12819CO Part 2
