Citizens is seeking to explore the availability of software to assist in the preparation and quality assurance review of claims estimates. Citizens currently has a multi-year contract with Xactimate Solutions Inc. for Property Loss Estimating Software, and Citizens is not looking to replace that contract or the Xactware platform. Citizens requires the use of Xactware by its contracted independent adjusting firms, who are manually completing each estimate in Xactimate via their independent adjusters. This third party automated estimate improvement software would be used to assist in the processing of documentation through the Xactimate platform. Features of potential interest include, but may not be limited to, functionality that could be used in conjunction with Xactimate in order to (i) streamline the collection and input of claims estimate information by field and/or desk adjusters, (ii) assist in confirming that all necessary claim information is collected and input into the estimate by field and/or desk adjusters, and (iii) assist with quality assurance review from initial inspection through settlement and audit. As a part of its due diligence in this process, Citizens is issuing this Request for Information to seek input from the marketplace to assist and inform Citizens in determining the availability of such software solutions. Additionally, Citizens may be interested in partnering with a Vendor to customize/enhance the Vendors platform to fit Citizens claims processing process and procedures. Responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted or used by Citizens to form a binding contract with the vendor. A future competitive solicitation may be conducted based upon the information received from this RFI.
