Laboratory equipment maintenance

The Departments of Health’s Bureau of Public Health Laboratories has the need to purchase maintenance and technical support of the existing analytical instruments located at the Jacksonville, Miami and Tampa Laboratories. These instruments are utilized for bioterrorism testing, influenza testing, West Nile Testing and mycobacterium tuberculosis testing for the BPHL. In accordance to Chapter 60A-1.45, Florida Administrative Code the Bureau of Public Health Laboratories (BPHL), requests sole source authorization to purchase maintenance and technical support of the existing analytical instruments from Life Technologies/Thermo Fisher.
