ITN ADVERTISEMENT INVITATION TO NEGOTIATE DJJ Lease # 800:0421 The Department of Juvenile Justice will receive sealed replies to an Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) seeking approximately 6.464 +/- 5 % usable square feet of existing office space to house a Probation and Residential Administrative offices; located within Palm Beach County within the following boundaries; North: Forest Hill Road, East: US 1, South: 6th Avenue South, West: Military Trail. Property to be available for occupancy on or about: February 1st, 2019. A bidder’s conference will be held at 3:00 p.m. (EST) on October 31, 2017 by calling into the conference line at 1-888-670-3525, participants password is: 7062230728#). Sealed replies must be received by 2:00 P.M., EST on December 18, 2017, at 2020 Capital Circle SE, Alexander Building, 1st Floor, Suite 1400, Tallahassee, FL 32399-0100, to the attention of: Michele Cook or Damien Jones. From the date this ITN is issued, until a notice of recommended award, rejection of all bids or other notice is made, no contact related to the ITN will be allowed between a bidder and any Department staff, with the exception of the contact person mentioned above or our tenant broker, David Hulsey. Any unauthorized contact will disqualify the bidder from further consideration. The Florida Department of Juvenile Justice reserves the right to reject any or all responses. Any protest concerning this solicitation shall be made in accordance with Sections 120.57(3) and 255.25(3)(d) of the Florida Statutes and Rule 28-110 of the Florida Administrative Code. It is the Department’s intent to ensure that specifications are written to obtain the best value for the State and that specifications are written to ensure competitiveness, fairness, necessity and reasonableness in the solicitation process. NOTICE OF PROTEST OF THE SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE MADE WITHIN SEVENTY-TWO HOURS AFTER POSTING OF THE SOLICITATION. Questions to the Official Contact Person shall not constitute formal notice. Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, or failure to file a bond or other security within the time allowed for filing a bond shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under Chapter 120, Florida Statutes.
