1. Approval of minutes of the meeting of May 30, 2001.
(Attachment #1) 2. ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF NOT EXCEEDING $23,500,000 STATE OF FLORIDA, BOARD OF REGENTS, THE FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY RESEARCH FOUNDATION, INCORPORATED, REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 2001. The bonds will be payable from lease revenues of The Florida State University Research Foundation, Incorporated and will also be secured by a guaranty by the Foundation. The bonds are not secured by the full faith and credit of the State. The proceeds of the bonds will be used to finance the construction of research facilities by the Foundation for the benefit of Florida State University. The resolution provides for the bonds to be designated as bonds of the Florida Board of Education upon the effective date of its creation and the abolition of the Florida Board of Regents. Copies of the resolution may be obtained from the Division of Bond Finance upon request. (Recommend) |
