3. Recommend reappointment of the following doctors to four-year terms on the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles' Medical Advisory Board provided for by Section 322.125(1), Florida Statutes:

Dr. McKinley Cheshire, Psychiatrist, West Palm Beach

Dr. Robert Bruce Pettyjohn, Emergency Medicine, Tarpon Springs

Dr. Cheshire is in good standing with the Florida Medical Association and Dr. Pettyjohn is in good standing with the Florida Osteopathic Association. Both doctors are in good standing with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

Request approval to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit bids for new Motor Vehicle Inspection Program (MVIP) central emissions inspection station contracts to begin when the current contracts expire, no later than June 30, 2000, pursuant to Section 325.2135, Florida Statautes, (1998 Supplement), as amended by Section 50 of Senate Bill 1270, 1999 Legislature (Enrolled), effective upon becoming law.
