4. Snapper Creek Elementary School vs. Miami-Dade County School Board

On December 12, 2001, the Miami-Dade County School Board voted to deny the Snapper Creek Elementary School Charter Conversion Application. This appeal is brought to the State Board of Education, pursuant to Section 228.056, Florida Statutes, which includes provisions governing the appeal process for charter schools.

These rules are submitted for approval by the Board of Trustees of the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind in accordance with Section 242.331(3), Florida Statutes. The Board of Trustees approved the rules on March 16, 2002.
