Preliminary approval of these Unbundled Provider Investment Products signifies the completion of this phase of the investment selection process for products 1-3. All investment product finalists—bundled and unbundled—will be evaluated together for final selection as providers to the PEORP later in the fall. (Att. #4)

5. THE FLORIDA HURRICANE CATASTROPHE FUND REQUESTS APPROVAL OF DR. SNEH GULATI AS CHAIR OF THE FLORIDA COMMISSION ON HURRICANE LOSS PROJECTION METHODOLOGY:

The Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund requests that the Trustees approve Dr. Sneh Gulati, statistics expert, Professor at Florida International University, as the chair of the Florida Commission on Hurricane Loss Projection Methodology for the 2001-2002 year. (Att. #5)

  1. REPORT BY THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR:
  2. Submitted for information and review is the Fund Activity Analysis for the month of February 2001. (Att. #6)

  3. GOOD CAUSE ITEM:

The staff of the State Board of Administration requests that the Trustees approve changes to the selection and evaluation criteria for institutional investment managers by reducing the required minimum assets in several categories and decreasing the requirement for the length of the product history to four years for small cap active managers. These changes will result in a larger number of candidates being considered.
