Incident Management

Another key component of the Office of Information Security is collaboration with network engineers. This collaboration is a focal point for threat assessment, warning, investigation and response to attacks on the state's critical infrastructure and information assets. Because of the need to respond to cyber incidents, the Office of Information Security will assist in the development and coordination of computer security incident response teams in all state agencies and act as the liaison between those agencies and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) for any criminal cyber activity.
