Notice of Meeting, April 25,
2008
|
|     An Invitation from Governor Charlie Crist |
|   |
  |
I encourage Florida’s best and brightest university and college students to consider using their skills and
talents to serve the people of Florida. To that end, I invite you to apply for a Gubernatorial
Fellowship where you can learn first hand how state government works. By spending a semester
in Tallahassee, you will gain valuable on-the-job experience and insight that will help you in
whatever career path you choose.

It is indeed a privilege to serve the people of the great state of Florida – my boss. I believe
public service remains one of the greatest callings a person can follow. This challenging and
rewarding duty provides the opportunity to impact the safety, well-being, and livelihood of
Florida’s 18 million residents. I recognize both the honor, as well as the awesome responsibility;
it is to serve with integrity, openness and a listening ear.
|
I invite you to explore this section of the Web site to learn more about the Gubernatorial Fellows
Program and how you can participate. May God bless you as you consider your future education and career plans.
