The following persons or businesses are required to obtain a license from the Florida State Boxing Commission prior to acting in such capacity:
Promoter/Foreign Copromoter, Announcer, Booking Agent, Judge, Ringside Physician, Manager, Matchmaker, Referee, Second, Concessionaire, Participant, Timekeeper, Trainer and Representative of a Booking Agent.
Pursuant to the Stacy Young Act of 2004, amateur sanctioning organizations must seek approval from the Florida State Boxing Commission to sanction and supervise amateur boxing and/or kickboxing matches held in Florida.
NOTE: Prior to submitting an application for licensure to become a Judge, Referee, Ringside Physician or Timekeeper, please contact the Commission.
