Requirements to be licensed:
- A degree in surveying
- Have four or more years as a subordinate to a professional surveyor and mapper in the active practice of surveying and mapping; or
- Have a college degree other than in surveying and mapping and have experience of six or more years as a subordinate to a registered surveyor and mapper in the active practice of surveying and mapping.
- An applicant who has taken the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying Fundamentals and Principles & Practices Examinations in another state is required to have the licensure verification form completed to verify their scores.
