Endorsement applicants: All barber endorsement applications must include an education evaluation conducted by a credential evaluation service which is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). If the NACES education evaluation is not included with the endorsement application, it will be considered deficient.

Continuing Education Requirement
Completion of a Board-approved course on Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) during each biennium prior to the license renewal date. The course shall consist of education on the modes of transmission, infection control procedures, clinical management and prevention of HIV and AIDS, with emphasis on appropriate behavior and attitude changes with specific relevance to the practice of barbering, including sanitary requirements.
