Hospitality Education Program

The Hospitality Education Program (HEP) is an industry-financed, industry-supported training and education program. Its primary goal is to instruct and train all individuals and businesses licensed under Section 509.302, Florida Statutes, in the application of state and federal laws and rules.

Food Employee Training Schedule

HEP also maintains an Information Resource and Research Center for Florida's hospitality industry and educators. The Information Resource and Research Center, at Florida State University, contains thousands of training materials, texts, videos, trade publications, and research references.

HEP services, seminars and resources are funded by a $10.00 stipend on each license, and are offered for the benefit of the entire industry.
