The City Clerk:

prepares Agendas and Council Meeting Minutes
- serves as official custodian of City records

responsible for qualifying candidates for City elections

ensures codification of City ordinances
- also serves as Human Resources and Risk Management Services Coordinator.
City Clerk's Responsibilities
City Records Custodian
Pursuant to F.S. § 119.021 and the Charter, the Clerk is custodian of all
public records of the city, as defined in F.S. § 119.011, and
custodian of the City seal.
Secretary to City Council
The Clerk is Corporate Secretary to the Council and performs those duties
specified in the Council rules of procedure.
