Sewer, Garbage and Recycling

Waste Management provides refuse and recycling services. The security deposit for residential service is $65.00.The security deposit for commercial/industrial services is based on usage. These deposits are payable at Cocoa City Hall, 603 Brevard Avenue ,Cocoa (321) 639-7500 or www.cocoafl.org.

Residential garbage pickup schedule is WEDNESDAYS and SATURDAYS; Recyclable and yard waste pickup – MONDAYS; White goods (refrigerators, ranges, water heaters, etc.) AND Bulk items - PLEASE CALL TO SCHEDULE PICKUP 321-636-6894.Recycle bins may be obtained at Cape Canaveral City Hall.

Water

Provided by the City of Cocoa: To establish service, please call (321) 639-7500 or visit www.cocoafl.org. A $40-$130 deposit is required, depending on 6-month average usage or prior resident. For identification purposes, a driver’s license and social security card are needed.

Water and Sewer deposits may be waived if you have a letter of good credit from a water utility within the last 12 months.

Electric

Provided by Florida Power and Light Company, www.fpl.com. A deposit is required and is based on a 2 month average usage of prior resident. For additional information please call (321) 723-7795.

Telephone

Provided by BellSouth Telecommunication Service. A $40.88 connection fee is required which can be prorated on your monthly billing statement. For service visit www.bellsouth.com or call 1-888-757-6500.

Cable

Provided by Bright House Networks, 210 Center Street ,Cape Canaveral , and (321) 254-3300. An installation fee is required according to selected service package.

Gas

Provided by City Gas Company of Florida, 4180 US Hwy1, Rockledge, (321) 636-4644. A deposit is required.

*There are other natural bottled gas companies available to service the Cape Canaveral Community. Please check your local Yellow Pages.

601 Thurm Blvd, Cape Canaveral- Reclaimed water is a major component of the City’s Water Conservation Program. Reclaimed water is wastewater that has been treated and transformed into a product that is clean, clear and odorless. This water has been subjected to strict water quality standards established by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
