RE: Road Closure

During the next two months, the City of Cape Canaveral (City) will be performing stormwater improvement projects on West Central Boulevard between North Atlantic Avenue and SR A1A at the Central Ditch (adjacent to the Oak Manor Mobile Home Park). During the entire project, the City’s contractor will close the westbound lane of West Central Boulevard in the vicinity of the Central Ditch for a distance of approximately 300 feet. Traffic in the westbound lane of West Central Boulevard will be diverted to the eastbound lane for two-way traffic. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times on West Central Boulevard during the project. Heavy trucks are encouraged to use other routes between North Atlantic Boulevard and SR A1A during these construction activities – anticipated project completion date is early-December.
