Definition of mobile home
From Section 110-1
mobile home,
means a detached residential dwelling unit over eight feet in width, which bears a seal from the United States department of housing and urban development, designed for travel over highways and streets or for house accommodations or both, manufactured on an integral chassis or undercarriage and arriving at the site where it is to be occupied, except for minor and incidental unpacking and assembly operations, location on jacks or other temporary or permanent foundations, connection to utilities and the like.
