Conservation, appropriate use and protection of soils and native vegetative communities within the City. The measurement of this Objective is the extent to which soils and native vegetative communities are conserved, appropriately used and protected plus the degree to which the following Policies are implemented.

Policy C-3.1:

Continue to enforce the City's landscaping and tree ordinances to help prevent soil erosion and to protect trees within the City.

Policy C-3.2:

Work with private developers to preserve, where possible, indigenous plant communities.
