If the responsible operation and maintenance entity fails to maintain a stormwater management system, the city building official shall give the entity written notice that corrective action should be taken. If the entity fails, within 30 days from the date of the notice, to take the corrective action, the city may elect to take the necessary corrective action and place a lien against the property to recover the cost thereof.
