Section 110-274. special exceptions permissible by board of adjustment.
In the R-1 low density residential district, the following special exceptions shall be permitted by the board of adjustment:
(1) Public and semipublic parks, playgrounds, playfields, recreation facilities and adult congregate living facilities.
(2) public utility equipment; uses and rights-of-way essential to serve the neighborhood in which it is located.
