Penalties for violations of this division shall be as specified in F.S. ch. 162 or those listed in this section. No after-the-fact permits shall be issued by the city to correct violations of this division. Fines for illegal land clearing shall be $250.00 per 100 square feet cleared. This includes failure to erect proper barricades. If protected trees are illegally removed from the site, the fine shall be up to $250.00 per inch of diameter at breast height per tree, in addition to the penalty of $250.00 per 100 square feet cleared.
