Section 10-173. Straddle dancing.

(a) It shall be unlawful for any employee or customer or patron of any commercial establishment in the city, whether or not the establishment is licensed under this article, to perform or participate in a straddle dance while on the premises of the commercial establishment. It shall also be unlawful for any employee, while on the premises or within the scope of his employment, to contract or agree to perform, for any consideration, a straddle dance and to actually perform the straddle dance, regardless of where such performance takes place.

(b) Employers of commercial establishments within the city are responsible for the acts of their employees. It shall be unlawful for any person maintaining or operating any commercial establishment, regardless of whether it is licensed under this article, to knowingly or with reason to know permit, suffer or allow any employee on the premises to perform or participate in a straddle dance.
