POLICE EDUCATION FUND
These funds are collected by the court system and dedicated to the continued education of the Cape Canaveral Sheriff's Precinct.  Payment is made directly to the Sheriff's Department at the beginning of each fiscal year.  This money is included in the Sheriff's contract.

FIRE PROTECTION FUND
This fund is subsidized from Impact Fees assessed on new residential and commercial construction where the elevation of the building is in excess of two stories.  These funds are earmarked for transfer to the General Fund and used to purchase the Aerial Fire Truck.

LIBRARY FUND
A voter approved Ad Valorem Tax has been utilized to maintain the exterior of the Library building and landscape the grounds.  This work is done by the various departments in the City.  The Cape Canaveral Public Library is operated by the Brevard County Library System.

LAW ENFORCEMENT TRUST FUND
These funds represent confiscated money/goods forfeited as a result of law enforcement activity.  These funds have been earmarked to provide the funding for Cape Canaveral's share of the cost of providing a School Resource Officer at Cocoa Beach Junior/Senior High School.  Expenditure of these funds is done as a Cash Forward.  No current revenues are projected.
