LEGISLATIVE OVERVIEW
The City Council consists of five members, including the Mayor.  All seats on City Council are filled by nonpartisan election as outlined in the City Charter.  The Mayor and City Council are responsible for reviewing and enacting Legislation and Policies that govern our community, the appointment of members to various City Boards and the contracting of municipal services.
