The purpose of the equipment assistance grant is to address the infrastructure needs of eligible School Food Authorities (SFAs) in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). These funds will be awarded through a competitive grant process to SFAs for the purchase of equipment to improve food safety, serve healthier school meals with emphasis on more fruits and vegetables, improve overall energy efficiency, and expand participation.

Applicants awarded a 2019 USDA NSLP Equipment Grant in the 1st round of this Request for Applications ending June 17, 2019, need not apply.

***ATTENTION: Deadline to submit the 2019 NSLP Equipment Assistance Grant has been extended.
