Citizens Property Insurance Corporation (Citizens) is seeking competitive sealed proposals (Proposals) from firms (Vendors) capable of providing Armed Guard services (Services). The need for these Services can be immediate and unforeseen, requiring a quick response from the vendor. The Armed Guard(s) will help in supporting a safe and secure working environment 24/7 while also guarding personal and business property (generators, fuel, restrooms, computers, printers, fans, lights, etc.), at Catastrophe Response Centers (CRC), Field Support Vehicles (FSV), Claims Support Vehicles (CSV), and other temporary or long-term office spaces within the state of Florida in the event of a catastrophic event or business continuity crisis. The Services are more fully described in Section 2 of this ITN. Citizens’ CRC is a critical component of Citizens’ catastrophe response, providing timely policyholder assistance in response to a disaster. The CRC serves as the face and voice of Citizens in the aftermath of a disaster and is a true test of Citizens’ commitment to providing superior customer service. Awarded Vendor(s) will be expected to honor these ideals through the Armed Guards providing security, and to adhere to high professional standards of conduct and customer service.

Citizens seeks to award contracts (Contracts) to multiple Vendors under this ITN. Assignments of work will be made on a case by case basis as the need arises and based on considerations in effect at that time. Citizens cannot guarantee how many assignments, if any, will be made to a Vendor.
