The State of Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), is requesting sealed bids from qualified Contractors to make site assessments and repairs that are needed for an Awardee that has met required criteria to receive CDBG-DR funds for the repairs. These services include, but are not limited to, the provisions of a contractor’s oversite and supervision, all labor and associated hardware and materials, required permits, drawings, and equipment necessary to repair assigned homes.Only contractors that respond to this solicitation and that meet the qualifications set forth herein will be included in the pool of contractors. Contractors that are part of a pool of contractors created by previous solicitations are not automatically included in the pool that will be created by this solicitation; such contractors must apply to this solicitation and meet the qualifications set forth herein to be included in the pool of contractors created by this solicitation. Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, or failure to post the bond or other security required by law within the time allowed for filing a bond shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under chapter 120, Florida Statutes."
