The State of Florida (State), Division of Emergency Management, invites interested vendors to submit a response to the solicitation for Emergency Standby Material and Service Contracts, in accordance with the solicitation terms.

This solicitation and all addenda will be posted on the Vendor Bid System (VBS). Vendors that respond to this solicitation are responsible for monitoring the VBS throughout the procurement for information regarding decisions and other matters relating to this procurement.

Interested vendors must submit responses to the Procurement Officer identified in the solicitation. Responding vendors must also download and submit all attachments and/or forms, as required by the solicitation.

Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, or failure to post the bond or other security required by law within the time allowed for filing a bond shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under chapter 120, Florida Statutes.

Any protest concerning this agency decision or intended decision must be timely filed with the Agency Clerk. Protests may be filed by courier, hand delivery, or regular mail at: Division of Emergency Management, Office of the General Counsel, Attention: Agency Clerk, 2555 Shumard Oak Blvd. Tallahassee, Florida 32399-2100.

Pursuant to Section 287.057(23), Florida Statutes: Respondents to this solicitation or persons acting on their behalf may not contact, between the release of the solicitation and the end of the 72-hour period following the agency posting the notice of intended award, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and state holidays, any employee or officer of the executive or legislative branch concerning any aspect of this solicitation, except in writing to the procurement officer or as provided in the solicitation documents. Violation of this provision may be grounds for rejecting a response.
