The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (Department or FLHSMV) is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) to obtain competitive bids for the purchase, delivery, stockpiling and assisting with the application of road base and asphalt materials in compliance with specifications established by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). FDOT specifications for road base and asphalt materials are located in ATTACHMENT B, SCOPE OF SERVICES, and are incorporated as if fully stated herein.

The road base and asphalt materials will be utilized in the construction of a High-Speed Driving Track (HSDT) to be installed on the grounds of the Florida Public Safety Institute (FPSI) located in Havana, Florida, which will be utilized by the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) for training purposes.

Invitation to Bid will be opened at the below address at 03:30 P.M., September 10, 2019.
