IT IS A "NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SINGLE SOURCE CONTRACT" WHICH IS POSTED PURSUANT TO §287.057(3),F.S. §120.57(3),F.S., AND RULE 60A-1.045,F.A.C. BE SURE TO READ THE ENTIRE ADVERTISEMENT BEFORE CONTACTING THE AGENCY WITH BID RELATED QUESTIONS. The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind hereby announces its decision to award a purchase order for the products/services described in the Original Single Source Advertisement Number referenced in the heading to the vendor referenced in the heading in the amount indicated in the Original Single Source Advertisement Number referenced in the heading. Protests and Disputes: Questions submitted to FSDB shall not constitute formal protest. A notice of protest must be submitted to the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind in writing within 72 hours of the Notification of Intent to Award. A formal written protest must be submitted within ten (10) days after the date the notice of protest is filed. The formal written protest must fully identify facts resulting in the contested issues. The protest procedure shall be governed by Florida Statutes §120.57(3) and may require the payment of a Protest Bond IAW §28-110-005, F.S. Any person who is adversely affected by the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind’s decision concerning a procurement solicitation or contract award and who wants to protest such decision shall file a protest in compliance with §120.57(3), FS. Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in Section 120.57(3), F.S., or failure to post the bond or other security required by law within the time allowed for filing a bond shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under Chapter 120, F.S.
