The Florida Department of Children and Families announces intent to award a contract or purchase order for the referenced project to Gateway Contracting, Inc., accepting the Base Bid plus Alternates #1, #2, #3 and #4 in the amount of $62,078.00, determined to be the lowest qualified bid.

Any bidder disputing the contract award recommendation must file the following with the Secretary of the Department of Children and Families, 1317 Winewood Blvd., Bldg 1, Room 202, Tallahassee, FL 32399-6570:

1. A written notice of protest within seventy-two (72) hours after posting of this notice (excluding Saturdays, Sundays & state holidays).

2. A formal written protest by written petition in compliance with Rule 28.110, Florida Administrative Code and Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, within ten (10) days after the date on which the above notice of protest was filed.

Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under Chapter 120, Florida Statutes. Either failure to file a notice of protest or failure to file a petition shall constitute such waiver. Any protest filed prior to this notice will be considered abandoned unless renewed within 72-hour time limit provided by this notice. The Secretary of the Department of Children and Families plans to act on the above recommendation after the expiration date of the 72-hour notice period.
