The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Forest Service is seeking sealed bids for the sale of timber. This sale is a thinning of 41 acres of planted slash pine located on Holopaw State Forest in Osceola County, Florida. Timber to be harvested is marked in orange paint. Unmarked timber is not to be harvested. The sale boundaries follow along the firelines and barbed wire fence. The estimated volume for this sale is 970 tons of pine pulpwood/mulchwood. This will be a six (6) month contract.
