Notice of Intent to Award 217005 AASF #1 Bldg 860 Cantilever Truss and Bolt / Connection Restoration and Recoating Jacksonville, FL This is to advise that the Department of Military Affairs, State of Florida, Construction & Facility Management Office, has recommended that the contract for the referenced project be awarded to the firm of Browning’s Construction, located in the city of Starke, Florida, in the amount of $176,600.00 accepting that Browning’s Construction, is determined to be the apparent, lowest, qualified, responsive and responsible bidder. Please see attached "Official Bid Tabulation and Notice of Intent to Award". Any bidder disputing the contract award recommendation must file with the Department of Military Affairs, Robert F. Ensslin Jr. Armory, 2305 State Road 207, St. Augustine, Florida 32086: (1) Written notice of protest within seventy-two (72) hours after posting of this notice. (2) A formal written protest by petition in compliance with Rule 60-4.012, Florida Administrative Code, and Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, within ten (10) days after the date on which he filed the notice of protest. Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under Chapter 120, Florida Statutes. Either failure to file a notice of protest or failure to file a petition shall constitute such a waiver. Any protests filed prior to this notice will be considered abandoned unless renewed within the seventy-two (72) hour time limit provided by this notice. The Department of Military Affairs, State of Florida, plans to act on the above recommendation after expiration of the seventy-two (72) hour notice period. All bids/proposals accepted by the state are subject to the state's terms and conditions and any and all additional terms and conditions submitted by the bidders/proposers are rejected, and shall have no force and effect. Offers from the qualified vendors listed herein are the only offers received timely as to the above opening date and time. All other offers submitted in response to this solicitation, if any, are hereby rejected as late or non-responsive due to mandatory qualification requirements. FUNDING - The State of Florida's performance and obligation to pay under this contract is contingent upon availability of funding and annual appropriation by the State Legislature.
