PROJECT NAME: Honeymoon Island State Park – Roadway Repair and PondModification BID SUBMITTAL DUE DATE: No later than 3:30pm (ET), Tuesday, July 10, 2018, to the below address: Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction, 3800 Commonwealth Blvd. MS520, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-3000, Attention Adam Browne, Government Operations Consultant II, Bureau of Design and Construction, (850) 245-2466. (For hand delivery: Carr Building, Welcome Desk.) The Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids. BID POSTING DATE: No later than 3:30pm (ET), Tuesday, July 17, 2018, unless extended by the Department for good cause. INSTRUCTIONS: Documents for this bid will be available for download on June 11, 2018. Any firm desiring a Project Manual with the plans for this project may obtain directions by emailing BDC_Contracts@dep.state.fl.us SCOPE OF WORK: Base Bid: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and permitting to construct the roadway repairs near the Nature Center and modify the existing stormwater pond located to the south of the “North Beach Parking Lot” per the contract documents. MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: Will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 9:00 AM (EST), at the Honeymoon Island State Park Nature Center, 1 Causeway Boulevard, Dunedin, FL 34698.
