Project Name: Sarasota NGA Roof Replacement & Interior Water Damage Repair

FROM: Department of Military Affairs, CFMO Contracting Branch

This addendum and the listed attachments forms a part of the contract documents and modifies the original bidding documents dated January 31, 2018. Acknowledge receipt of this addendum in your Exhibit 4 Bid Proposal form. Respondents are hereby informed that the Invitation to Bid has been clarified in the following answers to bidders’ questions:

GENERAL/Pre-Bid Meeting Minutes

Bid Opening Date: Tuesday, Mary 6, 2018 at 2:00 pm local time at RFE Armory, St. Augustine (unchanged)

A. Answers to bidders questions taken from the Pre-Bid Meeting on February 13, 2018:

Question: Will AT Level 1 training be required in order to work on this project?

Answer: No.

Question: Will a core test be done in order to determine quantity of demolition material for disposal?

Answer: No core test will be done prior to bid submittal. Each potential bidder shall base disposal costs on information provided by plans and specifications, personal inspection, and general knowledge.

Question: Specs page 075216-22, 3.15, A. calls for 20 year Installer’s Warranty. Is this correct?

Answer: No. Correct duration shall be 2 years.

Question: Specs page 075216-7, 2.5, A., 2. – Shall the cap sheet be bright white cool roof LEED compliant?

Answer: Yes. Cap sheet shall meet the minimum performance requirements of 2.1, D. Solar Reflectance Index.

Question: Specs page 075600-3, 1.11, A., 1. – Confirm 20 year warranty is required for Fluid-Applied Roofing?

Answer: Yes. 20-year warranty is required.

Question: Does the existing lightning protection system on the roof require that government equipment property tagging and storage be handled by the Contractor?

Answer: No. Contractor will remove system, store on-site, and re-install after roofing is complete.

NOTE: Additional site visits must be pre-arranged by contacting MSG Jonathan Croteau at

B. Please see attached CFMO Contracting Branch Mandatory Pre-Bid/Site Visit Agenda for this project and Contractor Sign-In Sheet that was issued at the Pre-Bid/Site Visit.
