Through this project, the Successful Respondent will be responsible to: (1) measure sediment and nutrient loading into Lake Apopka via the southern tributaries, at baseflow and during storms; (2) conduct a review of local stormwater master plans to ensure accuracy of local hydrology and stormwater infrastructure; (3) collect storm-event samples to quantify runoff volumes and water quality parameters in the three highest-priority tributaries; and (4) identify up to five conceptual projects that have the potential to reduce sediment and nutrient loading to the lake and enhance nearshore submerged aquatic vegetation habitat. The estimated budget for the project is $125,000.Request for Proposal packages may be obtained from Onvia DemandStar (demandstar.com), Vendor Registry (vendorregistry.com), or the District by calling or emailing Alan Weaver at (386) 329-4271 or aweaver@sjrwmd.com (email preferred please include company name, contact, address, and contact information in the email to keep you informed of future revisions and addendums.
