Through this project, the Successful Respondent will be responsible to: (1) measure sediment and nutrient loading into Lake Apopka via the southern tributaries, at baseflow and during storms; (2) conduct a review of local stormwater master plans to ensure accuracy of local hydrology and stormwater infrastructure; (3) collect storm-event samples to quantify runoff volumes and water quality parameters in the three highest-priority tributaries; and (4) identify up to five conceptual projects that have the potential to reduce sediment and nutrient loading to the lake and enhance nearshore submerged aquatic vegetation habitat. The estimated budget for the project is $125,000.
