Methods for Searching
To search for Commodity and/or Service codes, please specify
your search criteria using one of the following methods:
- Enter a Commodity Class, or
- Enter a Commodity Class and a Commodity Group, or
- Enter a Description or keyword and choose a Search Method
Expected Search Results
- If only a Commodity Class is specified, the search will
return a list of class-group codes for the specified
class. To expand the results to include the item and/or
detail level codes place a check in the corresponding
check box.
- If a Commodity Class and Commodity Group are specified,
the search will return a list of class-group-item codes
for the specified class-group. To expand the results to
include the detail level codes, place a check in the
Detail check box.
- If a Description is specified, the search will return a
list of class-group codes at the item-detail level for
the search method chosen.
Note: Sometimes the description at the item-detail
level may not provide enough information. To also
include the class-group level descriptions, place a
check in the Include Context check box.
A maximum of 50 records are displayed on each page of
results. To view the next 50 records use the page number
links at the bottom of each page.
