myMRA Card Tips
You can use the card....
- At any eligible health care provider that accepts Visa or MasterCard.
- In the new plan year to pay for expenses with last year’s funds through the grace period that ends March 15, 2012.
- For certain over-the-counter (OTC) items.
- For mail order drugs. Call your health insurance plan for more information.
- At grocery stores and discount retailers, if they are IIAS certified.
- To purchase prescription drugs at an IIAS certified store, without additional paperwork.
What if your card does not work?
- Have you activated the card? You must activate the myMRA card before you use it. Log in to https://peoplefirst.myflorida.com, under the My Quick Links menu on the home page, click “FSA Information.” On the FSA home page, click “Activate myMRA Card” under the Helpful Links section.
- Have you sent required documentation for any outstanding transactions? The card automatically reactivates once outstanding or ineligible transactions are cleared. If not, the card stays permanently suspended and the State of Florida may pursue repayment of ineligible expenses through a collections agency.
- The myMRA card only works at health care facilities that accept credit cards with a matching Visa logo.
- The myMRA card only works if the merchant or provider accepts it.
- If you leave state employment, your myMRA card will be suspended on the last day of your employment.
